It's Friday ladies! Remember that one of the many many MANY benefits of having a home business is that you can be flexible with your time and take days off when needed. Do you have a day off planned in your Noah's Ark week?
Don't let this contest take that away from you! In fact, if you took a day off, THAT can be your IPA for the day because more often than not, a day off will make the next day super productive because your mind and body are fresh and focused.
So...are you taking a day off this weekend? My day off is Sunday - I don't even turn on the computer at all and try like mad not to even THINK about NA....admittedly that's VERY hard but over time it's getting easier. I love that I don't even have the option to work that day.
Ok, but for today.... let's hear those IPAs!!! GO GO GO!!!

Today, I am mailing some party invitations and a party confirmation card to a b-day party hostess. I'll also be following up on some leads I got through the advertising co-op. I just got an e-mail from a lady I met at a vendor fair last week about doing her daughter's b-day party in early June. Thank you, have a great weekend! ~Kim Wence, #1359
I booked a daycare that I did last summer. Woohoo! I love repeat business :)

I've already done some downline support this a.m. (email) and have to place an order w/T&C... Then it's a day off so I can prepare for my daughter's First Communion tomorrow! (p.s. yesterday's phone time = 2 summer camp bookings! yay!)

Must post right now as I have workshops that start later this afternoon. I also must get my quarterly sales tax done and to the post office to have it post marked today.
I don't plan on making any daycare phone calls- Fridays are not good days for daycares (I have found). I will send out some confirmation postcards from yesterdays bookings, and conduct workshops. I plan to take Sunday off as I have a performance that day in Dallas (I am a professional flute player).
I have already packed for my 2 workshops tomorrow.
I am getting a package together for my sister to use at a silent auction for her 4H group. I am very excited, and am putting LOTS of paper with my info on it!

Today, I visited with my hairdresser about putting out business cards, flyers etc. at her shop. I also created a flyer to take to our school central office. I will have to wait for approval, but if I get it, I can send a flyer to ALL students at all 13 elementary schools here in Clovis. - Kellie Schwartz #2444
Gave my business card to a mom I met at church this morning.
Also made a couple of follow up calls. Had to leave messages.
Worked on creative workshop ideas in hopes of "selling" the ideas to a local "arts" center.

I made a follow up phone call from my daycare workshop yesterday. We had a garage sale today so that took up most of my day BUT I had my business cards out to give to families that came by. Same thing tomorrow! I am also working on flyers that will be handed out in goody bags at a large community fair day in 2 weeks. Kim Copeland #1927
Made email contact with a gal who signed up last month. Her first party is at the end of this month- for her daughter. Should be FUN!

Today I signed on one new crew member from a local Veterinarian Hospital. Very excited….Went to a homeless shelter and did a workshop tonight with the parents/children. They were very happy and said this is something they will always remember. That made my day…Also tonight, met with my new crew member and discussed the business...Cheryl Provencal #2323
Today I printed flyers for GirlScouts, In house field trips, Camp workshops and Birthday parties. Once I receive my business tools,I plan on going through the phone book and send out a mailing of mini catalogs with flyer inserts. I also sent an email out at my full time job advertising my new business.
I spoke directly with colleage of mine who was more than willing to help me recruit.
I also opened a business checking account today so I can keep track of funds. The bank rep told me to come back and drop off business cards. Siked!

Called 6 ladies today...for an opportunity meeting on Sunday at 1pm
1st downline CM signed on under me today (she is very excited)
Booked another birthday party but not until late August.
Made another order at Town and country (LOL Gonna have my regular paycheck made out to them)
Will be presenting the opportunity at a partylite show tomorrow as requested by the host.
And did not post anything on the blog as I seem blocked and cruising to success is giving me problems to. So that is my day at a glance. OH also distributed 12 information books about birthday parites, huggable shows, etc. To the parents of my students. And yesterday, I ran into my daughters teacher and she would like to have her calss plus four others do a huggable show for thier end of the year party instead of eating a bunch of junk. So that is my day at a glance. Now I must attend to my Arbonne Biz. With a warm smile, Laverne Marble CM2853
Jacqui Thomas came over Wednesday to give me inventory and I quickly got to work. I printed plenty of the mommy, me and tea, grandma and teddy and me workshop flyers and cleared my calendar for a week of workshops. I decided to open up my home during the mornings/evenings for a week before Mothers Day and then again on the Saturday before. I have a beautiful DR and I have genuine tea sets from Germany that I hate to see sitting there so why not bring them out? next step? 4:30 a.m.? hmm. Ok, dress up Butter Cookie in the sweetheart dress with a sound bite, "I love you" with shoes and take her with me everywhere, to the mall with my daughter. wow, what a sell THAT was! 2 stores later, i have not only 2 people coming to the mommy and me but 2 birthday parties planned and other people interested. And I make a deal with my daughter.....every lead I get, you get a $1.00.
friday, April 20th, I did an open house at Kernstown united methodist church and I had a great turn out!. I took my good luck charm and ended up selling her to a little girl who's birthday was yesterday, so I had to make a mad dash to Lisa McElroy to pick up another sweetheart dress and now I'm making a replacement bear to take with me tomorrow as Angel has a rather large birthday party to attend. I almost went to walmart to get this girl a present cause she wants "my little pony" stuff, but INSTEAD. my van is already packed...and we have a horse....so I will just unload my items and take them in and say, here is your gift....you can stuff your own HORSE!!!! I also raffled off Cuddlez at the church and I was blessed because a little boy named Alex, who was autistic, won. He touched my heart and I know God wanted me to meet him and him to win. I'm so thankful Noahs' Ark is touching my life. So tomorrow i'll be focusing on recruiting. now i have to run and stuff a bear for love and luck!! Dawn Steinmetz #2770
Today I prepared and mailed a packet of recruiting info to a potential recruit. I also met with a new team member to give her an outfit that she needed.

Okay, well this post is coming through late, but its for the 20th.
Today i made edited my Mommy, Me and Tea Flyer. Tried very hard to upload to Staples, but somehow timed out ans didn't have time to do it all over again. So, i will go tomorrow to have copies made.
Book a workshop for next week...possibly a recruit : )
Sent a e-card to b-day child for tomorrow...letting her know how excited I am to be invted to her party!
Updates my website with my Mother's Day info (I know that doesn't really count...but they can really be time consuming, but great exposure!)
Be blessed,
Germell 2068
Today I:
1.Listed a new classified ad on a web site.
2. Subscribed to a "Leads" web site for home based businesses.(I hope it works!)
3. Best of all....I spoke to a long time business contact. I have been a vendor at the NEX (store on Naval Base) for many years with another business. Today we were talking about Noah and exactly what it was. After she found out the kids actually stuff the animals and I carry the stuffing, star, etc.......She invited me to come in September when the do their huge kick off for the holiday toy season called "Toy Land"! YAHOO!!! She wants to set up a table and dedicated area to create a stuffing station when you walk in the main NEX mall doors and asked if I would have kids stuff on site!!!! I calmly said, "sure, I would love to do that." and we continued to exchange ideas for a while. I wanted to say, "DUH ARE YOU KIDDING!!!! OF COURSE I WILL COME AND SELL TONS OF STUFFED TOYS!!!!!! ARE YOU NUTS!!! But of course that would be unprofessional and we can't have that, can we! The "Toy Land" Kick Off weekend is big, they stock up with tons of new toys, have drawings, etc, etc, etc. I LOVE NAAW!!!! YOOHOO!!!
Rebecca Hurt, #2188
Wow, I thought I wouldn't get to do anything Friday for NAAW. I talked with Dawn Marie about her Open House. She is a blessing for a recruit and she is on fire. I am so excited for her. But, I am a consultant for HENN workshops and had a party to conduct. I was talking with the hostess, who had a NAAW party for her daughter last year and they are thinking NAAW again this year. (Great timing to acquire someone with a new product line.) Also, one of the other mothers asked me for information about NAAW. We discussed NAAW for about 15 or 20 minutes. YEAH!!!
