"Just Once a Day" Contest begins today!

It's April 17 and our "Just Once a Day" contest starts today! Whoo hoo!

Here's how it works:

You want to set a goal of "touching" your business by doing an income producing activity (IPA) at least ONCE A DAY. IPAs include:

~ Holding a Noah's Ark event (workshop, party, day care, festival, craft fair, etc)

~ Booking a Noah's Ark event

~ "Host" coaching (interacting with the coordinator of your event/birthday party - pre-party follow up calls)

~ Client care calls (for reorders, bookings, or for day after party thank you's, etc.)

~ Signing/following up with potential recruits (by phone or in person - for the contest email doesn't count!)

~ Client mailing (Sending e-blast, client newsletter, mailing catalogs, recruit packets, etc)

~ Dropping off displays or samples at your doctor/hairdresser/husband's office/wherever. When you pick up the display, ask who wants to host a party/place an order/join your team

~ Participating in an exposure event

~ Obtaining a fundraiser

~ Providing training or offering support to a team member via phone or in person.

One thing a day -- that's it! 15 minutes a day can make a difference in where you are now versus where you'd like to be, especially if it's 15 minutes more than you usually spend.

Now the fun part -- where the contest comes in . . .

Each day (beginning today) and until May 15th I will start a post asking how you "touched" your business that day. EACH DAY THAT YOU POST A COMMENT CITING WHAT INCOME PRODUCING ACTIVITY(IES) YOU DID THAT DAY EARNS YOU AN ENTRY INTO A DRAWING. The more detail the better because it'll help you see what you're doing for your business AND keep you accountable. Generic comments like "I worked my business today" will be removed. Make them specific - "I dropped in on 3 day care centers and left info packets for the directors" or "I called 4 of my local newspapers to talk about publishing my press release" or "I did a birthday event with 14 kids, animals AND OUTFITS!!! WHOO HOO"...something like that! :-)

You have the ability of earning a maximum of 28 entries (1 for each of the 28 days between now and May 15). To keep the posts timely, you MUST post your response THE DAY OF the original post to earn a raffle entry. All other dated posts will be removed and not counted toward the contest.

3 winners will be announced on May 16th and each will receive a fabulous prize. Each day a message will go out to the yahoo group reminding you to respond to the current day's post so if you're on digest, take yourself off for a while. The Yahoo group will also be on moderated status during this time to avoid multiple comments to the yahoo group instead of this blog.

This incentive is open to only those currently in the Cruising to Success yahoo group but feel free to post a similar contest on your own group website to feel the momentum that just 15 minutes a day of working your business can do.
