Every time you posted an IPA on the blog you got a "ticket" for the drawing. The more you posted, the more chances you have to win but even those of you who only posted once have a chance to win too.. it's the luck of the draw!
Bonus points today... post how the idea of the IPA helped your business and let us know if you plan on doing it even after the contest is done.
And let me know here if you want me to continue posting an IPA post on the blog so you'll have the accountability. I'm happy to do that and I love reading all that everyone is doing too! :-)
So post away and get another ticket... I'll finish writing up the tickets for the rest of this past week today and announce the three winners tomorrow. Whoo hoo!

Posting daily has helped me look back at my day and see what I have accomplished. I was already putting in lots of hours each day in my business, and to be honest - I wasn't really seeing results and it was frustrating. So for me, I think I've realized I can actually put fewer hours in each day, as long as I'm spending much of that time doing Income Producing Activites. I'm hoping to spend less time at the computer (esp. this summer with my kids at home), but continue to put some time in each day doing IPAs. Thanks Annette! Now I'm off to my Library Story Time!

Annette, I like having the blog posted even though I feel like I have not been faithful in using it. It's end of the school year time and May is always way too busy at our house. I have been working my business each day, but have not had time to always check emails and post to the blog. But today I did book a workshop with a daycare and spoke with someone interested in more info on the business.

I enjoyed having a daily IPA because it kept me accountable and I was able to see what I have done for my business at the end of the day. I was working on my business daily prior to the IPAs, but I'm not sure how much was income producing activities and how much was just busy work. This helps me to prioritize better. With or without the IPA to fill out, I plan to continue to focus on income producing activities.

Thanks for doing this Annette. It was helpful for me. It really made a difference in prioritizing my time. The idea of income producing activities wasn't new to me but putting it into practice was. I am still spending lots of times on my business but the IPA's are coming first instead of whenever I can in the mix. I absolutely intend to keep doint this. Accountability is a big help to me personally but I intend to continue either way.

Hi Annette,
I do like the blog and would like to see it continue. Although I have worked on my business plenty, I haven't been able to post much. Being a teacher, the end of the school year is VERY demanding. I have a Bella Bee party tomorrow night and many other things coming up.

never got a chance to post yesterday. It was such a busy day. I was able to book a workshop in July for a childcare center. It will be on July 6th, (holiday weekend for most) but they booked for 24 possibly more later. they have plenty of time to add kids. I am getting ready to follow up on my other two daycares for the week and have a stuff N Fluff on Friday for 14 kids. Well back to my daily grind of cleaning house and following up with prospects. Today was about getting information out. I talked to a realtor who is interested in approaching other agents in her office about the Children's Hosp event. I am printing more flyers and sponsor forms. Hopefully, I will get a lot done this weekend. Wish me luck. Jacqui Thomas # 1447

This IPA blog has really helped me to understand the difference in Income producing and the regular mundane things I did and considered doing business. Now, I ask myself each day what I did that migth REALLY produce income. It's stopped me from sitting at the computer and waiting on an email or contact to come to me. I must "DO IT". Today was really slow, we are going out of town tomorrow, so I'm getting ready for that, but I did leave a couple of phone messages for possible recruits, and talked to a woman who's sister has a day care in a nearby town, and gave her information to give to her sister.
Thanks Annette!

Hi Annette,
I just want to thank you for this AWESOME contast! It has changed the way I think about my business in so many ways. Before, after spending several hours doing "business" stuff, it seemed as if "business" was still slack : ( Plus, I was beginning to fall behind in my other everyday household duties and that's not good at all! My hubby said I was having alove affair with the computer, becuase I would be on here for hours at a time. Sometimes, trying to think of what I wanted to do next, but there was nothing to do...but I would still sit here and search for stuff (yeah, I know that's bad).
Anyway, now I see how easy it is to focus a set amount of time on my business and get way more done!
I'm noticing a big difference in bookings : ) Before, when i would do the mailings I would forget to call or afraid to call because they might say not...so it was like wasting money. Now, I have a new found confidence...mainly because I realized how much money I was losing and how much I could make by securing the booking! I just go for it. Yes or No...at least I've called and planted the seed : )
I've talked more with my downline as well and have helped them produce more...so that's GREAT!
I have truly enjoyed the IPA activity and will continue to strive to get my 15 minutes (okay, sometimes a lot more) in everyday. Besides, I'm in business to make money, right? So, I need to use all the resources that are available to me. And, just think...this was FREE!
So, again thank you!

I truly enjoy the accountability of the IPA blog. I work a lot more than 15 minutes a day most days. When I did take a day off, I still did at least 1 IPA so I could post. Not because I am competitive (I am though) but because it became a "HABIT" for me to think of the IPA's I would do the next day, write them on my To Do list, accomplish them the following day, then post them late at night, when I do computer work. My daughter was surprised that mommy had homework (posting the IPA's) and my husband and I used it as a chance to teach her that you never stop learning! I also like seeing what other CM's are doing. It motivates me, a lot.
Annette, I would love to see this blog stay up and running, it really helps us all. At least it helped me a ton!

I enjoyed reading the other postings, always love to read the great ideas that are out there. Also good for motivation to see what other people have endured to reap the rewards. It was good to focus on IPA's b/c time is precious. Thank you for this opportunity and thank you for sharing your ups and downs. ~Kim Wence, #1359
I have like three seconds to type this soo...As I said yesterday, I liked having the accountability. That really helps me stay on track. It also helped me to distinguish between busy work that has to be done and stuff that's actually going to amount to something. I think that I would like to see this continue. I also liked seeing what others were working on. Thanks, Annette for keeping us thinking and focusing.
