Today I worked on promoting new recuits. Still have two that say they are going to sign up but haven't yet..we'll see... Cheryl Provencal #2323
I called someone who I've been talking to about the career opportunity to see if she had any more questions. I had to reschedule a bday party b/c it turns out that many of the guests cannot make it. I e-mailed a bday mom about finalizing details for a bday party in June. I went to the post office to mail some patches to a scout leader and some invitations to a bday mom. I went to AC Moore to buy some fabric markers to replenish my supply (they were getting used up by the kids at the parties). I called to follow up with some daycare centers. Couldn't post yesterday because Comcast was acting up. But yesterday I spoke with my local library and they have said "yes" to letting me come and read during their preschool story hour next week. I will have my flyers and business card available for moms to pick up in the back of the room and I am planning to take one or two animals. Great free advertising!! I'm hoping this will be a once a month gig.
Today, I called a preschool about summer workshops. She will call me back. Also, left message for local arts center about camp ideas.
Today is another slow day for me. I just found out I have broncitis. So, I got a Noah-to-Goah together for a school silent auction. I am getting letters and flyers printed for fundraising to help Dawn Marie. She is doing a great job and I have done nothing to help her. Shame on me. Hello- Sent out 20 fliers to daycares; booked 2 more daycares; confirmed workshops for this weekend; checked in my order; waiting on hubby to get home so I can pack for my workshops. Regina Boyett # 537
Spoke with a daycare today that wants to schedule a workshop. She is going to call me back after she decides on a date. Spoke with two more people regarding birthday parties. My husband gave out my info to someone today also. Go husband! Received an order and checked it in, divided it up, and packed it up.
OK, this is going to sound really awful,,but we had 8 extra people spend the night with us last night to attend family funeral today. This morning during breakfast my son was showing an aunt his animals, and I ended up giving out some mini-catalogs. Lots of our of state cousins with kids will be getting them. Hubby handed out a couple of cards at lunch also. Going to get back on track tomorrow. Shelley #2113
Today I worked on day care mailings. I researched day cares in my area and made labels. I also made a post care to send out (150 of them). I will mail them tomorrow. I also added a couple of links to my website today. And I talked to two different ladies at two elementary schools about possibly doing fundraisers for them in the fall.
