Question of the week...

What systems do you have in place to help make your business with Noah's Ark Workshops balance with your home/work/family life? I'm looking specifically for routines that you do, planners that you use, etc.

I really do not have a good system in place. I am looking forward to school being out and my husband being home. The first two weeks of summer will be spent just organizing our lives. We are so busy and overwhelmed, and know that for me to be successful we must do better with organization. Any suggestions are appriciated. I love the parties and daycares I have done, I just need a better system to get more of those started.
Thanks,

One of the 1st thing I purchased was a PDA. This is the heart of my schedule. I never..well next to never, leave home without it. The next thing I have is a dry erase calendar in my office that is where everything goes as the stanby. We each have our own color to write our stuff down. So I look at Rainbow Stars every day.

Today was the kids' last day of school, so I'm now struggling to figure out how I'm going to work things in. I know I can and it won't be too hard. Hubby's schedule slows down alot in the summer, so that will help. Until now I did my "office work (phone calls & emails" in the morning, then did my errands and things that needed to be done in town. This was always worked around workshops of course. Always home before kids at 4:00. Evenings were spent with kids doing homework, dinner, baths and bedtimes. Then some cleaning and picking up. (I need to do more workshops because I need a house keeper). Then back to desk to look at forum, watch some tv and make plans for the next day. Shelley #2113

kids just got out of school, which means I to am out for the summer. So we will be doing the summer thing and I will be able to fit in NAAW whenever I need to. It really works out great as both of my girls normally have events of thier own scheduled. What9 and 11 year old want to stay home with mom all summer. SO they are going to the grandparents for two weeks, then to one aunt and uncles for a week and then one more for one more week. I sure will miss the heck out of them. It will be odd, but I might really be able to kick my biz into high gear now. I really want to get some solid folks signed up underneath me. Really working on it.

I have two little ones at home with me. Every day when they go down for their naps I make sure to do something for my business. Some days I spend more time on it than others, but I always do something for my business.
