One of the ladies in my group posted a poll on the group website asking what people are making in their NA business monthly (it's an anonymous poll!). Anyway, I started a complimentary thread there about ideas for how to actually make money in this business instead of it being a money sucker because this business really CAN make you money and doesn't have to be like many where women get in and then end up with a basement full of products and a lower bank balance and then quit. (been there, done that!)
So, I'd love your thoughts. What are your best tips for making money with Noah's Ark Workshops? Feel free to comment below...

I had to learn, that eventhough I was the only member in my area, not to spend alot of money on advertising. I did better with mailing flyers and post cards than I did spending $65 a week on an ad in the "penny pincher"that was getting no results. I was going in the hole fast. That lesson learned, I'm using free ads, and local directories and getting better results too. Word of mouth is always good too.

Amen to that Shelley. I did a $125 a month ad in the kids directory that got me SOME calls but not enough to warrant that kind of money. I can send a whole lot of postcards for $125 a month! :-)
I have to agree that I over spent big time initially, especially on expensive booth space that didn't pay off. (Ouch!). Now I limit myself to no more than $50 per booth and less is even better. Sometimes if the booth fee is too high I ask if I can share the space.
I also like the postcards. I sent postcards to most of the girls in my daughter's elementary school. I haven't gotten much response, but I got a couple of calls, and I'm still hoping I'll get more as birthdays roll around.
Also, I contacted my local library and they are allowing me to bring a few of my animals and read during their story time periodically. This is totally "free" advertising. It only takes a little bit of my time and effort. No money involved except for giving out a few flyers. whoopeee!!
