Do you Squidoo?

If not, you should! And it's even easier than blogging!

Squidoo is quickly becoming one of the best ways to promote your products and your business opportunity.

Check it out by clicking HERE

I created this lens first at www.directsalestools.com before Squidoo really took off but now I'm going to play with it more and see what I can discover!

Have any of you Squidoo'd before?

I don't know how you find the time to create new blog instruments. I am having a hard enough time booking parties and keeping my potential recruits interested. I hold down a full-time job w/a 5 and a 2 1/2 year old and a husband (not much help there). Where does everyone find the time to do extra things besides work on their own business??? I try to remember to read and blog. I am trying to recruit, raise money, advertise, market, and book workshops. My heading is spinning after 24 hours in my day. I will leave all of the new things up to you techies. Jacqui Thomas # 1447

Yeah Jacqui - i probably spend way too much time on the computer but some of that I do see as promoting my business. The whole blog/squidoo thing is a good tool to drive traffic to your website (free traffic) and create an "expert status" for yourself.

But - I don't work outside my home full time (although I do homeschool...that's a full time job) and my kids are older and at a place where they can help me work the business too.

You have to do things at your own pace AND feel comfortable doing things the way that work for you in the season of life you're in. I think what burns people out in direct sales the quickest is if they try to reach OTHER people's goals without having that same life situation instead of evaluating where one is in life now and seeing how the direct sales business can and does fit in for now.
:-)

I'm just trying to throw as much stuff out there for everyone to try because the tools are there and available for use and everyone is looking for the "free" way to do things. The problem with free, however is that it usually does take additional time - and if you consider that time is money - free really isn't that free! :-)
