The Perfect Recruit - part 2

So let's explore this a little more. If you were writing out a classified ad for the perfect recruit, what would that look like? Think about someone you know that is successful in this business or another home business... what are the qualities of that person that you'd want in a potential recruit? Write your "ad" in a comment and let's see if we can create a profile of the perfect recruit.

How's this:

"Warm body needed to become my downline. Love for children helpful but not required. If you don't have money, that's ok, I'll buy your starter kit for you. Please call today."

This is very long, but here goes:

"Have you always dreamed of having your own successful business, but with work, children, your schedule and your finances you have all but given up on that dream?

Do you also love to entertain children and throw fun birthday parties? How about helping out with area fundraisers or school carnivals?

If you have said yes to these questions and are also motivated, then you sound just like me, and that is how I know that I have the PERFECT OPPORTUNITY for you to actually own your own home based business franchise, that you can start with as little as $29.00! Sound too good to be true? It's not, I promise!

Noah's Ark Animal Workshop is a traveling stuff-n-fluff workshop and we offer high quality, safety tested stuffed animal skins ready to be stuffed and fluffed at parties and workshops for children across America! There are no boring sales pitch parties, but rather, exciting, fun and memorable workshops that we take to the customer.

This is a business you can do part time or full time, and the kids can help, too! We have all of the support and marketing materials that you could ever dream of, free websites, tons of animals, clothing, accessories, promotions, cruises, conventions and much more!

There is also our Bella Bee Glamour Girl Workshops, where our fun glamour parties are actually teaching girls the values to be as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. It's like two businesses for the price of one! Our profits start at 35%, and an average workshop takes under an hour!

Sound exciting? Call me today for more details, I would love to have you as part of the team and help you get your business on the way to success!"

So based on your ad Teresa the perfect recruit should:
1. Love to entertain children
2. Enjoy throwing bday parties
3. Be motivated
4. Want to own a franchise
5. Have $29 to invest

What else???

I figure they would also be involved in their schools and communities if they do help with school events, fundraisers, etc.
That would definately give them the upperhand on this type of business, however I could be wrong on that.

I think that Teresa summed it up very well. Reading it makes me more excited about working harder for my business. Thanks!

Perfect recruit:
patient- both in working with kids and in building a business; success doesn't happen overnight;
persistent- someone willing to try new things and keep at it to be successful;
personable- willing to meet new people and network
independent- enjoys working alone; self-starter;
creative- able to think outside the box

Thanks Laverne for a great quick classified ad!

So the perfect recruit is a stay at home mom or someone who is motivated. Would ALL stay at home moms make the perfect recruit?

How can we get more specific but still keep it short and simple like you've started?

Here's another thought... does the perfect recruit in this business really need to be someone who is leadership focused at all? What do you guys think?
