We all know that EVERYONE can be a Noah's Ark crew member but I'm curious what you all think makes the ideal recruit.
What are some qualities that you think are necessary for you to say "this business would be perfect for you and you would be perfect for this business"?
Throw some ideas out there... I'd love to see what you all think... please comment below...

I have found that some of my best recruits are organized, self-motivators, independent thinkers, of course, lovers of children. I can give people many wonderful resources, but it takes that special new recruit to actually take the time to go through everything and put it to use.

At this point, I have no idea, so I'm here to see other's comments. I have some that seem so excited, and would be great at this...but then they put off signing up, and just ride that fence. How do I push them on over? Am I talking to the wrong type?

Shelley, this is exactly why I posted this thread... because just because someone signs doesn't mean they're actually going to do anything... so to further the discussion... if you look at your current team and decide who is the "creme de la creme"...what characteristics do they have in common? And does this combination of characteristics make the perfect recruit?
A person who truly wants to change their life! One who follows through on their dreams. One who remembers that we are a business, not am opportunity! A highly motivated person who is not afraid to remove themselves from their comfort zone! And most of all, one who loves working with children, adults, and all people in general. OH... A good talker as we should be good listeners. Recruits want to tell their story to you, not us tell ours to them! We should remember to always show interest in them and their wants. Make them feel important. That is a true blue recruit, and recruiter!

Some of my best recruits are self motivated, hard working, have goals, already work in the customer service field, either have children, work with children or just love being around children and people. They are also looking to make money while having fun. Then I have the ones that sign up and do nothing - no matter how much help you try to give them....those you just have to let go...

I only have one recruit, and she has not shown an interest in becoming active, so I don't know how much my opinion means. However, I would think that a recruit would have to be outgoing and organized. They would also have to be self-motivated and positive (especially when first trying to get their business going). I think many people give up when things don't seem to pay off at first, but it takes determinatin to see through.
