Weekly contact with your fence sitters...

Jodi G just posted on the yahoo group that she just signed up a gal she's been "courting" for Noah's Ark Workshop for almost a year. Wow! But here's the kicker and something I think is worth discussing. Jodi mentioned in that email that she emails her potential recruits list about once a week to update them on what's happening in Noah's Ark land.

Wow... that's a great plan! I have my initial series of contact emails that I send to potentials (about 6 of them over the span of about 2 weeks) but after that I kind of drop the ball unless there's something special going on - like the end of the $29 kit, news after convention, stuff like that.

Jodi got me thinking... I bet a weekly email would do a few things:

1. Get rid of the "not interested" folks. Those people who never were interested in the first place would get tired of the emails every week and ask to be removed. A great way to insure that your list is fresh and interested.

2. Keep your name in front of them constantly - and I gotta tell you, this is key as we continue to grow. If your potential recruits haven't associated YOUR name with Noah's Ark, the chances are pretty good now that they'll forget you and sign up direct to the company and not be able to remember who they talked with first, or they'll start looking again and stumble upon some other crew member and sign with them when they're ready.

Thanks for posting Jodi - wonderful food for thought. How about you - how often do YOU contact potential crew members in your funnel?
