IPA post for Monday, November 26, 2007

Ok, ladies, here we go! Each and every weekday between now and January 1 I'll post here inviting you to comment and post your IPAs for the day. Let us know what you did today to produce income for your Noah's Ark Workshop business.

There's only one rule on the IPA comments though - you must comment AFTER you've actually done the IPA. No comments about "I'm going to pass out 10 SOU cards at the grocery store" or "I'm going to do this" or "Later today I hope to do that." Okay? They must be posts about things that you actually already did, finished, accomplished. :-)

And it's up to you if you want to do one summary post of the day's activities or if you want to comment several times each time after you do an IPA. Personally I think doing it after each one will be more motivating - as you can then use it kind of as a checkmark system. And for those of you who are competitive, you can say see if someone posted 6 times and you only posted 5 that you need 2 more IPAs for the day to be the top IPAer! :-)

15 minutes a day is all - make them focused 15 minutes where you're really really really concentrating on doing things that produce money - filing, labeling catalogs, organizing, etc - those are all important but they don't produce income for your business. Having parties, booking future parties, making individual sales, etc... that's cash making activities.

Set a timer if you need to. Tell the kids, "for the next 15 minutes mommy needs to work really really hard and you can help me by doing your own work quietly until the timer goes off. Once that timer starts beeping, I'm all yours" and then mean it! (say the same thing to your hubby and you can bet he'll say "hey honey, gotta do any IPAs this evening???" lol!

Have fun and happy IPA-ing!

Oh and YES you can still call in IPAs if you'd prefer. Here's the call in info:

I just spoke with the owner of a local "Drop In" Childcare Center. I told her that I could set up shop as an activity during any of her holiday parties or events. (Like Christmas and New Years Parties). She was interested and asked me to send her an email with my info. I just emailed her our info. on the Holiday Friends.

I did this same thing with another local "Drop In" Childcare Center for their Harvest/Halloween Party and it was quite successful!

I'm having a good morning! I just booked my first Holiday Friends workshop with a local childcare center and I have two others that are interested so I'm hoping those will pan out! Yeah!

My son and I dropped of 80 SOU cards at 7 different local day cares today with armed with a purses, ginger and freezy.

One of the day cares had told me previously that they didn't want a workshop but I just asked if it would be ok if I would just leave the cards. They said yes and actually said they were considering a workshop in the future.

So just know that no doesn't always mean never! Keep at it! :-)

Hi, I had a Birthday workshop Saturday and the kids had a blast. The party was for 1 year old at a party center. I think I have a possible recruit YEAH!!! I will go back and talk to the party center to talk them about adding me to their activities. The theme was Elmo and I found a super cute coloring page with Elmo sitting with lots of stuffed animals. I printed 20 personalized "Happy Birthday Joey" coloring pages. I think personalizing the page is a good idea. Plus my name and web site is now on some mom’s refrigerator.
