Subject: Is YOUR store open on Black Friday?
Black Friday - the Friday after Thanksgiving - is a HOT shopping day. Will your store be open? With so many customers out and about taking advantage of all the early bird sales - I hope that your plan is to hold a sale of your own.
I am not one who enjoys the `craziness' of Black Friday so by scheduling an open house of my own - I have a great excuse not to be out amongst the masses at the malls! Also, it always motivates me to get my Christmas decorating done a little early.
Play Christmas music, wear a Santa Hat, serve cookies, hold a raffle, run specials on products you've displayed on your Christmas tree skirt. You get the idea - have fun with it! It's not too late to plan. Just hit the phones over the next couple of days and invite, invite, invite! A follow up email is fine - but DON”T rely only on email - that phone call is crucial.
