Tools that have helped me grow my Noah's Ark business

You guys know that I really love the Internet for getting the word out about Noah's Ark - the business opportunity as well as the parties and our great products. It's not the be all/end all to our business but there are definitely some ways that I've found to maximize this one way of getting your name known. Here are my top tools that I use to promote myself and Noah's Ark:

1. Article Marketing - By far the easiest and fastest way to get bump your website up on Google AND establish yourself as a expert is using articles that you then submit to free websites. Each and every time you write and publish an article somewhere, your link is posted and that increases your page value in Google. The best part about it is that it's FREE advertising - it takes time (and yes, time is money) but there is no cash outlay to write and publish an article. Take the free e-course at the bottom of the page at www.directsalesarticlemarketing.com and see just how easy it is.

2. Autoresponder - This one costs money but has been, I think, the very best investment I've made in my business. Studies show that a prospect (aka - potential recruit) will want to hear from you about 7 times before they'll make a decision. An autoresponder helps to make that happen. The one I use is at annetteyen.aweber.com - and it is pricey, yes. But worth every penny in my opinion... and I've tried other options.

3. Intentional Blogging - These days direct sales recruiting and party/product marketing is all about building relationships and Blogging helps you to do that. When I wanted to start blogging I took a blogging starter course so that I made sure I was doing everything the right way. Really helped a lot.

4. Networking - Again, relationships are key - I spend time in chat rooms (not a ton) and use my blogs and the blogs of others to get to know people and let them know me. Not just the Noah's Ark me, although anyone who interacts with me regularly on the Internet knows that I'm a Noah's Ark Workshop nut. Again, the key is building relationships - building trust - building friendships and then making yourself available to meet the needs of those people when the time comes.

I could keep going with a bunch of other things that I've invested in. I'm in a monthly book club
where I get a top rated business book (hardback) each and every month plus online audio business training by some of the top business leaders in the world.

All these things cost me either time or money (and sometimes both) but have paid for themselves over and over because of the experience they've given me and the perspective that I've not had in the past.

Do I agree with or jump in an do everything I read and hear? Nope. But it expands my mind, keeps me sharp and helps me to think outside the box with regard to my recruiting and personal business building.

So invest in your business - intentionally either $$-wise or with a good chunk of time each week devoted to learning and growing. You'll see a difference in the long run in your business.
