Vacuum Sealer

I posted this on my downline website but wanted to share here as well:

I've been sending out a lot of individual bear kits and party in a boxes for the holidays and using the food sealer is a great way to cut down on the bulk of your boxes.

Since the post office changed their rate structure last, it's more expensive to send out boxes that are larger than one cubic foot, even if they weigh the same. I mailed out a party in a box last week and originally had it in a larger box - it would have been over $23 shipping for me to send that baby!

Thanks to my vacuum sealer, I was able to put it into a cubic foot box and it only cost just over $13 shipping. That saved the customer $10!!! Whoo hoo!

I usually just use it for the individual stuffing bags but you can vacuum seal animals too. They'll get all scrunched up when the air is sucked out of them but when you cut open the bag it's like magic when they pop back to life. Very cool.

Anyway, I just wanted to share. If you need another tax write off (since you're using the vacuum sealer for business it's a legitimate business expense) for 2007, get one of these guys before December 31!

Happy sealing!

Annette
